Inside FAC is moving

Dear Readers,

Over the past few months, the team behind Inside FAC has had conversations with key industry figures and the wider readership about the future direction of our coverage of the fac (re)insurance and specialty markets.

What you have told us has guided our thought processes and, after careful consideration, we have decided to move all of our facultative (re)insurance and specialty content to our reinsurance and London market title - Insurance Insider – with effect from Monday, 17th August.

I regret to say that this means Inside Fac, as a standalone title, will cease to exist after this date.

This decision was not taken lightly, but we feel strongly that the case for publishing a standalone title devoted to these niche sectors is less compelling than the opportunities offered by folding them into Insurance Insider’s coverage

By drawing on a wider editorial team and positioning our fac and specialty coverage as part of a more holistic view of the marketplace, we believe will be able to better serve readers.

What does this mean for Inside FAC?
● Existing web content will be migrated to InsuranceInsider.com
● Future facultative and specialty news and insight will be published on InsuranceInsider.com
● The Inside FAC website will be discontinued
● The print issue, which was paused due to the Covid-19 lockdown, will be permanently discontinued
● Newsletters will be discontinued

What happens next?
We have already written to subscribers to outline the changes to your subscriptions and further reminders will follow, leading up to the transition deadline.

I will regretfully be stepping away from my role as Editor of Inside FAC, but you will see me again in a new role, elsewhere within Insider Publishing Group.

If you have any questions or feedback please don't hesitate to get in touch with our subscriptions team on subscriptions@insuranceinsider.com.

Thanks for all your interest in and support for Inside FAC over the years and keep on doing what you do best – finding solutions for those large and complex risks that for others are too hot to handle!

Best wishes,

Gavin Bradshaw
Editor, Inside Fac
