AM Best has maintained its negative outlook for the UK’s non-life insurance sector amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The ratings agency predicted lower premium volumes due to the coronavirus-related economic slowdown, as well as “persistent pressure” on underwriting performance because of strong competition and claims inflation.
