Sompo Holdings to be separated into P&C, wellbeing businesses

James Shea will lead the new Sompo P&C arm, while Yasuhiro Oba will become Wellbeing CEO.

Sompo Holdings has been separated into two global segments – Sompo P&C and Sompo Wellbeing.

Effective 1 April, the reorganisation is designed to provide “a resilient, innovative and sustainable platform to support all its stakeholders”, the company said.
