Moody’s RMS models project Hurricane Debby losses at under $1.5bn

Moody’s also predicts losses to the NFIP at less than $300mn.

Moody’s RMS Event Response estimates that US private market insured losses from Hurricane Debby won’t exceed $1.5bn.

This publication previously reported that Moody’s RMS event response model initially projected an indicative loss of less than $1bn.
