Trade credit insurers have weathered the global pandemic much better than expected, helped in large part by widespread government economic support, according to a report by AM Best.

Government-backstop schemes introduced in Europe for trade credit insurers in 2020 enable many carriers to maintain coverage throughout the crisis.
